As an Inside Print & Marketing Services Account Consultant - you will be part of a committed team of sales professionals focused on accelerating category growth for print & marketing services. We are looking for energetic, high output, sales people to join a fast-paced, growing business to handle outbound and/or inbound sales activities. Candidates must have above average telephone prospecting skills, who can easily adapt their selling approach to various degrees of engaged customers. You will be responsible for proactively reaching out to existing Staples Advantage customers to acquire, retain, & grow Print & Marketing sales. You will work closely with Mid-Market Account Managers within Staples organization to acquire, retain, & grow category sales.
Meet/exceed sales quotas
Use a consultative selling method to identify customer needs and develop a value-added proposition
Engage with prospects to assess areas of opportunity, uncover the needs, and present & sell our assortment & services
Focus on solution based selling to solve customer objectives while maintaining and growing profitability for Staples
Technically proficient: Salesforce, screen sharing services, digital quoting systems, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
Represent the best of Staples Inside Print & Marketing Services in promoting products, services, and commitment to customer satisfaction, support a smooth introduction to an account manager
Be fast & flexible in a fast-paced evolving environment
High School diploma or equivalent
Professional and effective telephone communication skills
Strong work ethic, coachable, tenacious and engaging
Previous business to business experience in a selling environment
Proven ability to sell as part of a team
Comfortable with financial sales tracking and analysis
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
Exceptional phone & e-mail communication skills
Experience with Salesforce.com
